When I first started seeing my Facebook friends posting about Plexus, I just kept scrolling and didn't pay any attention to the posts. I had seen so many advertisements on tv telling how such and such a company had created a product guaranteed to make you lose weight (showing several "before" and "after" pictures of people that had used this magic formula), and besides, I didn't need to lose weight.
Eventually though, I started to see more and more posts about how this "pink drink" had helped people not only to lose weight but to feel much better and how it helped them with several of their health problems.
I was still skeptical, but I began to pay attention to the Facebook posts that I saw about Plexus.
I've wanted to try Plexus products for a while now, but I have never been able to justify spending $24.95 for a 7-day trial. I recently won a giveaway though and was given five Plexus Slim packets to try, along with three Accelerator capsules and a sample of the Ease cream.
I decided to start my five-day Plexus Slim trial today. Even though I don't need to lose weight, I am hoping that Plexus Slim will help me with some health issues. Since I'm not using Plexus to lose weight, I won't need to take the Accelerator capsules. I'm sure that some of those reading this post may be interested in Plexus Slim/want to know more, so I'm going to walk you through my five day trial and give an honest and unbiased review as I go along.
To start my trial, I opened the package and read the directions.
One of the first things that I noticed was that you need scissors to open the packets. Thus, they aren't very travel friendly. To me, this isn't a big deal, but for those who are taking Plexus Slim on the go, it might pose a challenge.
After I got the packet opened, I poured it into my water bottle and shook it up.
Even after shaking it for a while, there were still clumps of drink powder on the bottom of the bottle.
I ended up pouring it into a cup in order to help the powder dissolve. Once everything was dissolved, I took a sip. First thoughts on the drink itself.... it is very sweet. To me, it tasted like Kool Aid.
I'm not expecting to see any changes in my health yet, but my initial thoughts on the drink are a bit disappointing. I expected something that tasted a little nicer (maybe more like a juice than a sugary drink), but I guess that the results are what you're paying for, not the drink itself. I'm excited to see what happens in the next few days as I continue to try Plexus Slim. Have you tried any Plexus products? What were your thoughts?
Check back soon for my review of the Plexus Ease cream and an update on my Plexus Slim trial.
